As a decision-maker, you don’t want to blind-side your team with a mandatory or exploratory effort to adjust or change the way things are going. Knowing there is some level of readiness to tackle the needs of your team/community can show up in many different ways. Is there existing buy-in at the leadership or team level?
you can speak to an existing budget or allocation of funds to work on your team’s needs, higher level decision-makers like directors or supervisors are advocates for this work and may already engage in some form of wellness whether on the personal level or within the organization on some level
