Why I Created Alternative Routes
When I describe my career journey I talk about taking many “switchbacks”. I’ve had to pivot multiple times due to various circumstances beyond my control. It took a toll on me because many of these circumstances I would later find out were mainly structural. I needed a lot of support to pull me through to the other side.
Today, as I coach leaders who’s passion for justice and fairness flow through all parts of them, just like they do in me, I know intimately what a journey towards true purpose is like. This program allows me to show up for those who are ready to take that serious leap towards their true purpose in very practical and transformative ways. In my experience of navigating through challenging circumstances, you may not know what’s ahead but you can feel something emerging. Having someone to hold that space of trust, exploration, and discovery is key to making it through to the other side standing stronger in your own power.
Who I Coach
I tend to attract clients much like myself; passionate leaders with a fervor for a just world. Leaders who push the edge of the status quo and often are the disruptors in their organizations. Most, not all, of my clients are BIPOC women doing mission-driven change work in organizations from corporate to small businesses to grassroots organizations. I work well with diverse leaders that are critical thinkers, truth tellers, healers, open-minded and progressive in their politics, and are hungry for more from this world.
How Long I’ve Coached
I’ve been a full time coach since 2016 and received my ICF certification (ACC) in 2017 from Leadership That Works (now only offered in India). On average I coach about 12 -15 private clients annually and also coach through consulting contracts. I can be found on directories such as LEAP, Therapinay, and Windcall Institute.

Alternative Routes is designed for professionals at any career stage facing transitions, obstacles, or uncertainty. Whether you're dealing with layoffs, career pivots, workplace challenges, or simply feeling stuck, this program provides the tools and support you need to move forward strategically. ✧ How long does the coaching last?
You’ll have between 3 - 5 months to book your 6 one-on-one coaching sessions. Each session is 60 minutes, scheduled at your convenience and held on Zoom. Supplemental resources are shared with you via email and customized activities are shared as they come up during our time.
✧ What if I'm unsure about what I’m looking for?
That's completely normal and exactly why the first phase focuses on clarity. We'll work together to identify your core career goal through guided exercises and reflection. Many participants start uncertain and leave with crystal-clear direction.

A typical program lasts at least 6 months with meetings twice a month. This shorter, 3-month program suggests meeting twice a month and is made for leaders eager to find their true purpose without the full, minimum commitment.
