When I turned 35 I was at a career crossroads. My journey was tumultuous and emotionally I was drained and distraught about staying in my industry. I always I knew I was destined for more. That's when the idea of celebrating my 35th birthday with a think tank came to mind! I thought it would be a great way to jumpstart my journey into “what I really want to do in life” and “how I can serve this world as my full self”.
Looking back, the think tank I co-created with a supportive team helped shape what the next several years would be like. Today, my business and capacity to guide you through this day is one result that came from my gathering. I realize its time I share this with you!

Think tanks typically gather “thinkers” or “experts” in certain industries to brainstorm, research, problem solve, or innovate whatever idea they have. Many think tanks out there are gathering research experts, economic leaders, or corporate innovators to turn over strategies or policies in a short amount of time.
If you’re looking to mobilize a personal passion, shift your career path, or get serious about your side hustle, this design lab will help you create a gathering of your own thinkers and thought partners to support you in “moving into your true purpose!”
Who is it for?
For individuals who
want to make their side hustle their main hustle
have a brilliant idea, project, or business that needs a room of solid thought partners so you feel more confident in launching it
are struggling with an existing business/project/or the crafting of a clearer true purpose
are ready and open to engage with small group of creatives and entrepreneurs helping each other design bomb-ass gatherings!

What to expect
We’ll gather in a local community creative lab space called Solespace in Uptown Oakland.
During this design lab I’ll guide you through the basic components of a think tank, then you’ll have “lab time” where you design your gathering. Key activities on receiving feedback and facilitation of your think tank will be covered. Each participant will present their design plans to receive feedback to turn it up!
With a good chunk of your time in design and creative space, we’ll have light snacks and refreshments. All supplies and materials provided. Bring your own personal journal (optional).
